Other News: 

  • Class Color Shirts ARE IN for students that pre-ordered. Pick up before or after school only . Freshmen/Sophomore pick up is in room 234. Junior/Senior pick up is in room 232 (no longer in the art room.) If you have not paid be sure to bring your $10 with you. Pick up MUST be done no later than Monday, Sept. 20th. If you ordered a class color shirt, please pick it up AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Any pre-ordered shirts not picked up by 2:45 on Monday will be sold to someone else.

Homecoming News: 

  • Do you you have a truck or convertible and want to be in the homecoming parade? If so please go to stowstuco.org/parade and fill out the google form to be a part of the parade on September 24th at 4 p.m..
  • Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, changes have been made the Homecoming Dance. All attendees must present a signed COVID-19 waiver at the door prior to entry to the dance. Waivers can be found in the attendance office and the commons near the restrooms. Masks are required and must be worn over the nose and mouth throughout the dance.
  • Student Section! Your Powderpuff teams are looking for big crowds. Wear your class colors and cheer on your graduating class on Thursday, September 23 at 7pm in the stadium!

Guidance News: 

  • The Counseling Department will be administering the Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarship Test (PSAT) on Wednesday, October 13th during the school day to all interested college bound sophomores and juniors. The test will be from 7:45 AM until 12:30 PM. The PSAT serves as a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program; however, the test must be taken as a junior in order to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship program. The test also serves as valuable experience in preparing for the SAT test. Students enrolled in honors English or honors math are strongly encouraged to participate. Students may register for the test by bringing a check for $18.00 payable to Stow-Munroe Falls High School to the Counseling Office. Please contact your child's counselor if you have any questions.
  • Upcoming College Visits- All college visits will be in the Counseling Conference Room. Please pick up a College Visit form from Mrs. Leonardi if you are interested in attending.
    • University of Akron- 9/20 @ 9:00 AM
    • Kent State University- 9/20 @ 10:00 AM
    • Walsh University- 9/23 @ 10:30 AM

Clubs/Activities: 

  • Any current Junior or Senior interested in applying for National Honor Society can pick up the application in room 215. These will be due by September 30.
  • Do you love STEM? Are you considering a career in a medical, engineering, or chemical field? Do you want to make new friends who share your interests? Or are you looking to add to your college resume? Then come join Science Olympiad! We meet Tuesday's at 2:30 in Room 127. Contact Mrs. Kucko for more information.

  • The Tallmadge Recreation Center is currently taking applications for seasonal basketball scorekeepers, concessions attendants and admissions. Applicants must be 16 years old and able to work Saturdays and Sundays from December-February w/training starting in November. Apply @ City of Tallmadge website by Friday, October 15th. 
  • Ace Hardware is now hiring. Cashier and sales associate positions. Stop in at 5824 Darrow rd. Hudson, OH to pick up an application. 
  • Sky Zone is holding open interviews Tuesday, September 21st - 23rd from 5pm - 7pm @ 6217 Chittenden Rd Boston Heights, OH. Any student 15 years and older may apply.
