MAIN ENTRANCE TO HIGH SCHOOL

The main entrance doors lead to the Attendance and Main Offices. Visitors need to sign-in and receive a Visitor's badge in the Main Office before proceeding to their appropriate destination.

  • Construction on the high school started in 1985 and students first entered the doors in 1987.
  • School colors: Maroon & Gold.
  • School mascot: Spike the Bulldog

ENTRANCE AND MAIN OFFICES

This main entrance is used by students and guests to the building. Guests can sign-in and receive a visitor's badge in the Main Office and students must report to the Attendance Office before leaving school early or upon arriving late. This main entry way leads to the commons, math and art classrooms and Guidance Offices.

ATTENDANCE OFFICE

Students report to the Attendance Office to sign-in and out. Should parents need to report their child absent from school, they can contact their child's grade level secretary by calling 330-689-5222.

COMMONS AREA

The commons area accommodates the high school's 2000 students for lunch and study halls. Lunch is served three times a day in the commons and students can pick from a variety of foods. The school offers items ale carte, a salad and deli bar, pizza and hamburgers, frozen yogurt and a different hot lunch every day. The commons area is the center of the school with access to the gym and auditorium.

COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER

In the College & Career Center, students can look up campus information, research and request applications for college scholarships, and get college campus recruiting/contact information. Students can also schedule to meet with recruiters from numerous colleges, as well as military and business representatives.

MAIN & AUXILIARY GYM

The Main Gym is located next to the commons area. It is used for both varsity and junior varsity basketball and volleyball games. During the school day, the gym can be separated into several smaller sections for gym classes. The lower, or auxiliary gym, is located next to the main gym on the first floor. The Auxiliary gym's primary use is for gym classes. The basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball teams also use this as a practice area.

SMFHS STADIUM

The Stow - Munroe Falls High School Football Stadium seats 3,000 spectators. The Stow - Munroe Falls Booster Club started construction on a new field house inside the stadium and tennis courts in 1998. Construction on the tennis courts was completed in 1999 and the field house was completed in 2000. In the summer of 2001, the football field was re-turfed and a new track was laid.
