H.B. 77 was recently signed into law by Governor Taft and will take effect Oct. 12, 2001. The Governor's Office of Veterans Affairs will be developing rules for the implementation of this law. Local school districts will be notified of these rules once adopted and will be able to handle requests for diplomas at that time.
