Lakeview held several activities in remembrance of Patriot Day, September 11.

Students held a 93 Cent collection drive during lunch that week and collected $555.93. The funds will be donated to the HALO Foundation for the Flight 93 National Memorial Campaign.

Many students wore red, white, and blue on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The display cabinet outside the gym displays the pictures of the heroes from Flight 93.

Students were given a red, white, or blue strip of paper to write their names on. The strips have been connected to create a chain of patriotism in the dining room and out into our main hall.

K-Kids made a banner for the Flight 93 Memorial that was displayed in front of the school.

A Flight 93 video was shown to the entire school at 8:46 a.m.

Teachers were encouraged to have their students write about patriotism, September 11, Flight 93, etc. Some student essays were displayed outside the Guidance Office.
